Julian, Chris and their fellow actors are simply fantastic. We hired them for a private event before the pandemic hit and the event had to be postponed by a whole year. They were very understanding and allowed us to move the booking without any hesitation. Totally stress free!
After waiting with huge anticipation for almost two years we were not disappointed. The murder mystery was executed brilliantly with so much humour and energy. They even worked our connection to the furniture industry into the storyline. Our guests have been raving about it ever since. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and wish we lived closer so we could use them for all of our events!

My husband and I would like to thank 1st Call Murder Mystery for providing such a fun and entertaining murder mystery event at our wedding. We absolutely loved watching our guests carrying ‘dead bodies’ out of our wedding breakfast and passionately getting involved with the actors. It was a completely unique wedding breakfast experience and so many of our guests have commented on how much fun they had at our ‘alternative’ wedding.

Their actors  attended our corporate event at Aston Gate Bristol and åentertained 180 people for almost 2 hours.

They utilised all of the space available to them and in this particular murder mystery format some of our colleagues became suspects in the activity which helped get people really involved.

The murder mystery event was enjoyed by all and brought humour as well as engagement/collaboration to our afternoon activity.

We had a fantastic evening at our staff conference with your team performing The Mucklington Murders. The acting was excellent and the comedy was witty – both scripted and improv!

They provide first-class entertainment with humour, style and some wonderful costumes! They are wonderful at interacting with their audience, regardless of age and group size, and their Murder Mystery evenings have a universal appeal to people looking for an immersive, fun and unique dining experience. On a personal note, I have been working with Julian and Chris for the past 4 years and over this time they have consistently provided high quality content, patiently dealt with requests ranging from a week’s notice to 2 years, and are always calm, happy and generally a pleasure to talk to. I cannot recommend their shows highly enough and expect our venue to be booking them for a long time to come!
