Brean Country club offers breath taking views of Brent Knoll and the Mendips but on Saturday it was all about dressing to impress and prestigious awards.
Locally based 1st call murder mystery invited guests to become super sleuths and attend the glittering Oscars award night of 1937.
One guest was not focused on the exciting ceremony as they only had “murder in mind” !
Fortunately Inspector Bottom was on hand and it wasn’t long before the murderer was apprehended and the celebrations could continue.
